Trail Riding Etiquette
- Sharing Trails - Preparing for the Trail
The clinic will cover things you may need to bring
for a trail ride, for you and your horse. What to expect on a
trail ride. How to be polite and safe on the trail. We will have
arena obstacles and finish up with a short trail ride around the
area. Bring your own sack lunch and drinks.
In addition, The Northern Colorado
Quarter Horse Association will be presenting their trail riding
package for anyone interested in signing up. The NCQHA puts together
5-6 trail
rides throughout the summer. The trail rides are gentle,
last 3-4 hours and finish up with a potluck. On their
calendar this year are Sylvan Dale, Dun Raven, McGregor and more.
Membership costs are $25 per year for the family.
